It is the time of year behind the scenes when all the preparations are undertaken for the following year including budgets for Nativity and Campus, financial planning for the future , staffing allocations, the specialist lessons across Campus, classes structure and class placements.
On the Monday of Week 8 (3 December) every family receives an Information pack with all the administration gathering we are required to have for our school governance, along with a summary of the decisions that have been made thus far. We require the information to be returned by the Wednesday of the last week of school year (12 December).
As a staff, we are currently working on the class structures and the student placements for next year. As a parent, if you have an educational reason that should be taken into consideration, please see the current teacher to discuss. This needs to be done no later than Monday 19 November. I am happy to be contacted as well if required. We do spend considerable time and do our best when discussing the students needs to make the best decisions possible. The next step is the Transition Day where the students move to their class and spend some time with their 2019 teacher(s). A letter is sent home to parents that afternoon to be informed on the class and the teacher(s). For privacy reasons we cannot name the class lists. If there are concerns with the placement, then the process is to write to myself outlining the concerns you have. I will make contact to discuss the issues further.
To complete the class placement process, we require notification if an alternative school for 2019 is being considered. Please contact either myself or the class teacher by Monday 19 November if this is the case. We need to know this information for planning the classes as it does have an effect on class placements.
The end of the school year is hectic time of the year for us all, so please note the following dates:

5) Final Assembly- Thursday 13 December at 1.30 pm in the PAC.
