Kids Helpline Online Classroom Session – Middle School
On Wednesday 21st November our Year 6/7 students who are moving on to secondary school were part of an online classroom with Amber from Kids Helpline. Amber told us more about how Kids Helpline works and how it can be accessed – by phone or via the website – 24/7.
Together we talked about our worries or concerns about transitioning to secondary school. These included bullying, peer pressure, catching public transport, getting lost, making new friends and saying goodbye to Nativity friends and teachers. We discussed different strategies that might be helpful in these situations.
We also talked about what we are looking forward to, like Graduation and doing new and different subjects next year.
We are proud of our Middle School students and wish them all the best in their last few weeks of primary school!
