From the Principal
Last Friday the Receptions hosted our whole school assembly to tell us their learning story for the year. It was wonderful to see how much they had learnt across all learning areas and their personal courage to be up on stage recounting their learning experiences, singing and even showing some of their dance moves that thoroughly entertained the audience.
But what a way to articulate their learning to the ‘Little Stars” (our 2019 Reception students) who attended the assembly to receive their Graduating certificates. Their mothers and fathers were also in the audience. A common reaction amongst these parents is knowing in 12 months time their child will be up on stage doing something similar. Well done to our current Receptions and their teachers, Hannah Macauley and Lucinda King for their assembly preparation and the teaching and learning programme offered throughout the year.
