Happy Easter!
I know it seems strange still saying Happy Easter but the Easter Season lasts for 50 days after the Resurrection of Jesus, ending with Jesus Ascension into Heaven. This Sunday is the 5th Sunday of Easter the Year 4 class did a wonderful job celebrating this mass on Thursday. The Gospel message was “Love one another as I have loved you.” Father Santiago spoke to the children about how they are loved and love many people, but to remember they are also loved by God. He also spoke about how easy it is to love those who are nice and kind to us and challenged us to love those who might be a little more difficult to love.
Next week’s mass will be led by the Middle Years children, you are all welcome to join us Thursday at 9:15am.
After lunch on 30 May Andrew Chin will be visiting Nativity. Andrew is the creator of Butterfly Music, records Christian music for children and adults to use in Religious Education, Masses and Liturgies with a particular emphasis on the Catholic faith. He is very well known to the students in our communities and we are very privileged and excited to have him coming to our school. You are more than welcome to come along.
