Catholic Education Week
Our school will celebrate Catholic Education Week from 3rd June to 7th June. As Catholic schools, we are called to do more than just pass on the faith: we are invited to translate our faith into deeds, so we are truly living God’s Word. Catholic Education Week is an opportunity for all Catholic schools to celebrate our distinctive mission and share features that are special about our school.
On June 6th School of the Nativity with other Catholic schools in the region will be attending a Regional Liturgy being held at Sacred Heart College Marcellin Campus, Somerton Park, acknowledging us Living, Learning and Leading together in the Spirit of God’s love. All of our school community will be attending this unique gathering. Please ensure you have returned your child/children’s permission slips.
Father Phillp Marshal, Administrator delegate for the Archdiocese will lead the children in prayer and Andrew Chinn will guide the children in song during the Liturgy.
Andrew Chinn will be visiting Our School of the Nativity on Friday 31st of May in preparation for the Liturgy. You are welcome to come and hear Andrew and the children sing at 1:50pm in the PAC. I hope to see (and hear) you there.
Blessings
