It has been a busy term in Reception King

The Reception King class have had a busy term swimming, writing, reading, playing, creating, being mathematicians, being social and having FUN!!

We have had a Science focus learning about the weather and how it effects our daily lives. We have been Scientists and experimented with our own ‘clouds in a cup’ to see what happens when clouds become full of water. We learnt how Scientists measure wind direction, and made our own weather vanes.

We have been practising our number skills and learning about addition. We have also been learning about shapes – making shapes, drawing shapes, tracing shapes, and finding shapes everywhere we go!!!

Green day was lots of fun, and we enjoyed planting with our buddy class.

We love spending time with each other, and are making very special friendships in Reception King.
