Preparing for Grandparents Day in the Middle School

We have been designing our costumes and props for our class acts. All students had to create a drawing and we then chose the best designs to be made. One team of students are making costumes, and have been busy measuring patterns, cutting and sewing to make all twenty costumes! The second team of students are in charge of making our props, so there is a flurry of gluing, painting, paper mache and decorating afoot in our classroom.

These tasks cross multiple curriculum areas, including mathematics, design and technologies, and visual arts. The students are having a wonderful time preparing. Can you guess what we are making from the photos below? Book your tickets to find out!
