SACPSSA Cross Country Carnival
On the 6th of August, a keen group of 18 students from years 4-7 represented Nativity at the SACPSSA Cross Country Carnival. It was a chilly day, hovering around 12 degrees but that didn’t deter our energetic group.
Tyler, Hamish and Aiden started off for the year 6 boys – div B, followed by Noah, Isaac and Blake for the year 6/7 boys – div A. Isaac flew through the finish line with 1st place and Blake not far behind in 3rd.
The afternoon kicked off with the year 4 girls – div B Cacey and Ciara. Cacey won 2nd place. Year 4 boys – div B, Liam, Jack and Charlie were next off the line. Jessica earned 2nd place for the year 4 girls – Div A with Liam and Finn running for year 4 boys – Div A, Finn came within the top 10 for the age group.
Cam started off the year 5 boys – div B with Caden following for the year 5 girls – Div A. Hudson and Luke finished the day for the year 5 boys – Div A.
We are incredibly proud of every single student who ran their heart out, pushing themselves until they crossed the finish line. Everyone ran an admirable race and should be very proud of their efforts.
Thank you to our volunteers Melinda Sporoiwicz, Rachael Osborn, Tara Macrow and Michael Cooper and a big thank you to Bianca for her meticulous organisational skills.
