Grandparents and Special Friends Day Update

As we all know, this year’s Grandparents and Special Friends Day concert is looking a little different. We are working very hard behind the scenes here at school to get our film ready as soon as possible for viewing by our families and friends.
Weeks 7 and 8 are dedicated to filming, and we’ve had lots of excited students at school this week as we begin that process. Prior to this week, we’ve been busy rehearsing our singing and dancing, holding auditions and recording sessions, designing t-shirt logos and making paper planes!
Even though this year has forced some changes, the mood around the school is overwhelmingly positive and enthusiastic. I encourage you all to look out for our video link, where you will be able to watch the film, and share it far and wide! I know we have several students who have families living interstate and overseas, and this year is a great opportunity for them to share their school life, when ordinarily they might miss out.
So, butter the popcorn and curl up under a blanket- our premiere is coming soon!
