Nativity Old Scholar Nick Percat visits Nativity

Nick Percat last attended Nativity in the mid-90s and has gone on to follow his dream of becoming a professional racing car driver. Nick is currently a SuperCar driver for the Brad Jones Racing Team. One of Nick’s career highlights was winning Bathurst in his first attempt back in 2011.

Yesterday he visited Nativity and brought along his dog Nelson and his go-kart to share with us. Some of our students had the opportunity to ask Nick questions about his career and memories of Nativity. It was really pleasing to hear that Nick felt that his teacher’s at Nativity at the time encouraged him to follow his dreams and gave him the opportunity to share his passion for kart racing with his peers.

You will see below that Nick Percat’s visit was featured on Ten News last night and in this morning’s Advertiser. The feature segment filmed by Fox Sports will air this Sunday as part of this weekends SuperCar race at The Bend Motorsport Park at Tailem Bend.
