What’s happening in 4/5SP

We have had a fabulous term of learning! There has been lots of talk about Growth Mindsets in our classroom where we have been looking at the Learning Pit and connecting the visual model to the range of emotions we might experience during a challenging learning task. We have developed some strategies and positive self-talk to help us achieve our goals as we work towards success.

One of our learning challenges this term was constructing 3D models of a town or playground. Although tricky at first, we had a lot of fun designing and constructing our models using our understanding of 3D shapes and nets to construct our visions.

We have also enjoyed connecting with our Year 1 buddies again this term. We have spent time reading with them, joining in mindful activities and preparing for our Grandparents Day recordings.
