Dads and Kids Sleepout
On Friday 30 April 56 excited kids joined by their dads enjoyed the balmy Autumn weather for the annual Dads and Kids sleepout. A big thank you to Sam Larwood for all the work you put into co-ordinating the evening.
So we arrived on the oval and helped our dads set up our tents. We made giant bubbles and played quoits. Then we did a treasure hunt that involved answering a question to find the clue to lead us to the different places on Campus. At the end of the treasure hunt we all got a hot chocolate, a Tim Tam and a mini lego.
After some playing with our friends, we all went to sleep in our tents. When we woke up there was an amazing sunrise and a coffee van for the dads! Then we had a delicious bacon and egg breakfast with juice. Then we packed up the tents, had a photo and went home for a rest!
