Year 3, 4 and 5 Science Incursion
As part of our Earth and Space Sciences work this term, the Year 3, 4 and 5 classes experienced an incursion on Monday.
All classes experienced a 90-minute session each.
The Year 3 and 5 classes explored the scale of the universe, the moon (phases and formulation, the earth (day/night, year, seasons), and experienced the night sky in beautiful glowing detail inside the Starlab planetarium.
The Year 4 class worked their way around 5 activities to build an understanding of water resources, rock types, tectonic drift, faulting and folding and glaciation.
Photos of our sessions can be viewed in the “Sway” below.
