From the APRIM
Dear Families,
Tomorrow our staff will be participating in a retreat at the Mary MacKillop Precinct in Kensington. This will involve learning more about the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart by touring the museum. We will then be looking at the charism of the Josephite tradition and the connection for our school. We will end the day with Mass celebrated by Fr Mwaura. Unfortunately, due to the inclement weather, we will be unable to complete the Mary MacKillop walk which traces the sisters’ footsteps around the old village of Kensington. After another busy term, it will be a wonderful opportunity to explore our Catholic identity and to sit a while in the presence of God.
“Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10
This coming Sunday, nine of our students will celebrate the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion. We congratulate in advance Bailey, Brooke, Charlie V, Ethan, Harrysen, Isaac, Ryder W, Steel and Zac. May God bless them on their special day, and always.
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” 2 Corinthians 13: 14
Blessings,
Sharyn Black
