From the Library
Campus Library News
There are many exciting things happening in the Campus Library. Students have been listening to stories and checking out the many Shortlisted books for Book Week. At lunchtimes students have been making bookmarks and other activities associated with the new book titles.
We love the fact that so many students come to the Library at lunchtime to borrow, browse, read quietly or share books with their friends, ‘tinker’ with the old computers and play board games.
The Library is alive with learning!
Premier’s Reading Challenge concludes in just 14 days.
Students are encouraged to complete their Reding Challenge records now and hand them to their teachers, so that their records can be submitted in order receive their Certificates and Awards for 2021.
Overdue Library Books
Many students will be receiving overdue notices for books that have not been returned for this term and some for books overdue since Term 1.
The Campus Library currently has 374 overdue books.
Please look on your bookshelves, under the bed, behind the lounge and under the car seats to try and locate those overdues and help reduce our overdue list.
2021 Book Week Parade is next week!
Friday 27th August
We will see our students bring their favourite books and characters to life.
This will be a Parent Free event due to our current COVID restrictions. However, we promise to send lots of photos to share with everyone!
