SACPSSA Athletics Day 2021

Nativity recently attended the SACPSSA Athletics Day at the South Australian Athletics Stadium at Mile End. 36 of our Year 3 to 6 students represented our school competing in track and field events.

We had a very successful day with our school winning the overall percentage pennant. Our Year 5 girls won overall champions for section 5, and Jessica won the individual age champion. Our girls came runners up overall for Section 5, and the boys came in third.

We were very grateful to have our parent volunteers who took on the role of officials at some events or helped with supervision in the stand. A big thank you goes to Adriana Torresan, Bernice Martin, Theresa Pols, and Tara Macrow.

Events like these do not just happen and require a lot of preparation in the background. Thank you to Bianca Henderson for coordinating and communicating with parents and students leading up to the event.

Thank you also to Angela Pike for your support and leadership on the day.
