The following information is to assist our Year 3 students and new students to Nativity with setting up your new device ready for online learning.
Step 1: Username and Password
Your child’s username will be their email address which is usually the first initial of their first name with their last name and then @nativity.catholic.edu.au. For example, Simon Richards would be email@example.com. Your child’s email address will be shared via email with one or both parents. The password will be shared with you via text message. This should occur in the next 24 hours. This username and password will be used to log in to your Office 365 account outlined in the next step.
Step 2: Install Office 365 apps, including the Microsoft Teams Desktop app.
To do this, please follow the instructions in the YouTube clip below.
If you experience any issues installing Office 365 and the Microsoft Teams app, you may drop your device to school before 9 am on Monday 24th January so that this can be completed, and then your device can be collected the following day. If you require this to be done, you need to book in your device via email firstname.lastname@example.org .
