What’s happening in 2D
The Year Twos have been doing Place Value in Maths. We made a long number line from blocks. The children had to work out the best way to count the blocks and mark the numbers along the number line.
Here are some observations from the students:
Connor: We made 500.
Quinn: We counted in tens.
Cristian: We were putting the numbers where the blocks were.
Lily: We were putting blocks in tens.
Jack: When we came to tens and hundreds, we marked it with tape to make it easier to count.
