What’s happening in Reception J

The Reception J class have been extremely busy engaging in many different learning activities. We have been learning about Lent and how to do acts of kindness, every day we begin the day by ‘Filling People’s buckets’ by saying kind things to them. We have been learning about being authors and creating our own books during Book Making.

Being a scientist and investigating the flow of water around our school has enabled us to be outside and experiment in the sandpit. We have also learn about the water cycle and created our own water cycles in a bag.

We are learning to sort, classify and make patterns in Maths. We are also learning to count, write and recognise numbers to 20 and beyond. We have used 10 frames to help us count to 10.
