Year 6 Aquatics
On Monday the 21st the year 6 cohort were lucky enough to spend the day at Port Noarlunga beach for aquatics. They embraced the opportunity to spend their day in the sun, engaging in learning about water and beach safety while honing their skills and experience in a range of different activities including bodyboarding, surfing, snorkeling, stand up paddle boarding and kayaking. Here are some things our year 6s have to say about the day…
Aquatics was really fun! My group’s activities were surfing and snorkelling. My favourite part was probably snorkelling because I have never done it before. But surfing was also really fun and there were really good waves! Georgia
I really liked Aquatics because we had a choice of what we wanted to do and then we did the activity for two hours. It was such fun! I loved the surfing the best because I had never surfed before and it was such fun. Siena
We both enjoyed Aquatics a lot. Cooper personally liked kayaking more and Harry personally liked bodyboarding more. We both enjoyed the bus on the was back. It was an awesome reward. Harry and Cooper.
