Dear Families

Sacramental Program
We have recently had some enquiries in regard to the Sacramental Program which will begin again soon. However, we cannot include any more students into this year’s program as the Sacrament of Reconciliation has already been completed. If you would like to register your child’s interest for the next program, please email Bianca Cotton parishassociate@nativityparish.com.au The next program will commence in Term 4, 2022 and continue into 2023.

Altar Servers
All those students who have completed their Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion) are invited to train to be an altar server. Please contact Bianca Cotton or me to register your child’s interest.

Holy Week Presentations
I would like to thank the teachers for their dedication to celebrating Holy Week with their online presentations. This meant a complete rethink of who, when and how this was going to happen, despite the complications that Covid brought. Thank you all for your dedication.

In conclusion as we prepare to celebrate Mother’s Day this Sunday, I would like to share the prayer of some Early Years students from Nativity written many years ago but kept and treasured:

I love my Mum and she loves me.
I love her because she spends time with me.
I love her because she reads to me.
I love her because she stands out in the rain watching me play sport.
My Mum watches TV with her eyes shut.
My Mum makes me eat broccoli. (I hate broccoli).
My Mum does things for me even when she doesn’t want to.
She is the best and I love her with all my heart.
Thank you God, for my Mum. Xxx
