What’s happening in 3/4H
Time has been a focus in Year 3/4H Mathematics this term. We have been exploring telling time to the minute using analogue clocks and investigating the relationship between different units of time. We have also been exploring simple time related problems, such as elapsed time using games to help build our knowledge.
In Humanities and Social Sciences, we have been exploring the continent of Africa. We have explored the counties and major cities of Africa, and the natural and topographical features of the continent. Next, we will be investigating the continent of South America.
In Science, we have been learning about Earth and spaces sciences. This week as part of our investigation into weathering, the children were introduced to the scientific concept of fair testing and conducted their own investigation into abrasion weathering, analysing and communicating their results.
