What has been happening in Reception J

We have been learning about forces in our unit focussing on Push and Pull. During technology we have designed and made a mode of transport that needed to have a door that opened, and the mode of transport needed to be able to move.

Being scientists, we have carried out many experiments to see how things move. We experimented with straw and rockets to make our own rockets and had a lot of fun flying them.

Experimenting with balloons and seeing how far they could fly was great fun. We learnt that the air as it leaves the balloon causes the balloon to move.

We carefully observed how the wind made out windsocks move.
