Reception James Are Learning About How Things Grow

This term we have been learning about how things grow and how we can care for them.

We enjoyed looking after the baby chickens when they visited our room. We enjoyed listening to the chickens chirping through the day.

We have also planted seeds and watched our seeds grow. Growing seeds linked to the learning that we are doing about Fairy Tales. We planted our magic beans just like Jack and have watched them grow.  We even had a message from the giant who had lost one of his shoes and asked us to measure his shoe so he could get a replacement shoe made.
