Yr 6 Sustainability Leaders Workshop

Yesterday our Year 6 Sustainability Leaders attended the second Southern Districts Youth Environmental Leaders Workshop. We visited Coromandel Valley Primary to hear about their conservation work with Badicoots in their local area. We spent some time in the creek learning about Bandicoots, their natural habitat and threats to their homes. We learnt to identify animal tracks and droppings. In the afternoon we spent time planning for our next Sustainability initiative which will be happening later this term. We also attended a Kuarna Art workshop.
