What’s happening in R/1K

R/1 King have been busy this Term learning about Living things. We have had baby chickens to care for and observe and have grown our own bean seeds. We have also written information reports about chickens. Last week the Early Years classes visited the old Adelaide Gaol, as part of our learning in HASS. The children were very interested to learn about life in a prison in the ‘olden days’,  see what a cell looked like and learnt that inmates made escape ropes out of bed sheets.  They learnt there were no toilets and inmates had to use a bucket and then empty it themselves!! We have also been hard at work practicing our performance for Grandparents and Special Friends Day.
