From The Principal
Dear Parents, Students, Staff and Friends of Nativity School,
The weather could not have been better for our long-awaited Campus Sports Day on Friday last week. Congratulations to Yorke (Green) for winning the overall Championship Shield and to Flinders (Red) for winning the Spirit Cup. Special Congratulations to Liam and Jess our Year 6 students who won the Athletics Age champion awards, a fantastic achievement!
Last week the Year 6 students participated in the Amazing Race through the city centre. Based on the hit TV show this activity is an opportunity to develop life skills, to get to know Adelaide and how to get around along with learning about the city sights.
The students raced around Adelaide using multiple modes of transport and completing challenges at checkpoints on the way, building leadership skills and strengthening relationships with others.
It seems that there was strong competition between the students and staff to take out first place. Congratulations Mr Horton and Team on winning the 2022 Amazing Race!

This Friday we will commemorate Remembrance Day with a service in the PAC at 10.30 am, please join us if you are free. Millions of people around the world will stop for one minute of silence to commemorate those who fought and died in conflicts since World War I. This is a chance for our community to honour returned service people, their friends and family and for us to reflect on war and thank those who gave their lives for the country.
Remembrance Day Blessing:
Loving Father,
Have mercy on your people and open our hearts to peace and love. Reward all those who have died for their country and grant all nations may continue to work for peace and justice.
Lastly, the tender for the Bartram building will be finalised by the end of the week. This means that moving will now be at the end of the year, after the students have finished for 2022.
God Bless,
Erika
