News from the 5/6 Classes
The 5/6 Learning team have been working hard to establish the routines and rituals in our learning space. We have been learning about our RISE to Thrive behaviour agreement and discussing what respect, inclusion, safety and empathy looks like in our school.
We have also been focussing on how we are called to be “Leaders for the world God desires” as senior students of the Nativity community. We recognise the importance of Student Leadership in creating a culture of wellbeing in our community and have been working with the Wellbeing Coordinator to identify our strengths as leaders. Each of our year 6 students has considered their strengths and interests and then applied for a leadership role. We congratulate all Year 6 students for their excellent applications and their commitment to acts of service for our Nativity community.
We look forward to seeing them lead our community with pride.
