Premier’s Reading Challenge
The Challenge is a literacy engagement strategy that requires students to read 12 age-appropriate books in a year. Students who complete the challenge receive an annual award.
If students wish to take up the challenge, they are required to read 12 books from the start of the school year until the end of week 7, term 3.
Our Early Years classes will complete the challenge at school and all forms will be completed by the teachers.
Year 3-6 students wishing to participate in the challenge, can collect a sheet from their class teacher or download the form from the website Premier’s Reading Challenge . Once the forms are completed, they can be returned to class teachers. A reminder that for year 3-6 the Premiere’s Reading Challenge is a student and family led activity.
As this year celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the Premiere’s Reading Challenge students are invited to read 20 books for which they will receive an additional certificate.
