Harmony Week Celebrations

Our buddy classes came together to celebrate the cultural diversity in our Nativity community. At Nativity we value belonging and embrace the benefits of our diverse community. All students wore an item of orange clothing to represent our united commitment to respectful and inclusive social communication. Our buddies gathered to share information about our rich family backgrounds. We explored different languages spoken at home by children, parents and grandparents and learnt to say ‘hello’ or ‘welcome’ in another language. Our SLT are busy creating a welcome display with our buddy artwork that welcomes everyone to our school community.
