What’s happening in 1/2W

We have had a busy start to Term 3, and our focus has turned to the outside, in hope of better weather. Our Religious Education topic this term is ‘Caring for our Common Home’ and 1/2W have been making sure that the area around our classroom and the playground is free from litter. Students are loving their revamped classrooms and are taking pride in their new space.

Students have been focusing on imaginative writing and been thinking about the amazing things they would do if they were Prime Minister. As well as having access to an endless supply of lollies, most students wanted to end homelessness, make sure everyone had access to enough food and water and clean up our environment. Their thoughtfulness and compassion certainly gives me hope for the future!
