What’s been happening in Year 3/4 B

This term has been extremely busy in 3/4B!  In English we have been reading our next Roald Dahl Book – The BFG.  Trying to find a book that nobody had read or seen the movie has been a challenge.  The class are loving hearing all the disgusting things the Giants do! Did you know that Human Beans (Giant for Human) from Turkey taste like Turkey’s?

We have been exploring how different families celebrate, both here at home and around the world, in HASS.  In maths, we have been focusing on fractions and equivalent fractions.  In Religious Education, we have been investigating what we can do to save our earth from climate change and human impact.  Students then made posters on how we can do better!

All but 6 students from 3/4B competed in the Catholic Cross Country Carnival.  All finished, and we had a great day in the City.  We have also celebrated our learning with an Assembly last week!
