Graduation & Thanksgiving Mass 2023
Last night at our End of Year Graduation and Thanksgiving Mass, we acknowledged our graduating Year 6 students, St. Joseph Award recipients, Rotary Award winners, Mary MacKillop Award recipients, and farewelled staff.
To our graduating Year 6 students, congratulations and thank you for your contribution to our Nativity community:
Steel, Kai, Tiras, Chloe, Archie, Isabelle, Beau, Sera, Elijah, Joshua, Charlie, Isaac, Indi, Ollie, Alanah, Connor, Sakura, Keanu, Jenae, Carex and Matthew.
The Saint Mary MacKillop Award is a special award presented to senior students each year. The Saint Mary MacKillop Award recipients have remembered our school values of belonging, compassion, gratitude, forgiveness, courage and justice. They, too, have tried to be like Jesus and have acted on Saint Mary MacKillop’s words: “Do all you can with the means at your disposal and leave all the rest calmly to God”. The recipients have not just displayed these qualities this year but throughout their time at Nativity.
We congratulate Sakura and Matthew on receiving the Saint Mary MacKillop Award for 2023.
We congratulate Sera and Charlie for receiving the Rotary award for their community service this year, keeping with the Rotary motto of “Service above Self”.
We presented one student from each class with the St Joseph Medal for trying to be like Jesus in all that they said and all they did. Congratulations to the following students for receiving the St Joseph Medal Award:
Reception King: Emmerson
Year 1/2 Halliday-Wynes: Naksh
