It has been a great start to the year in 1/2W!

We have settled into the new school year! There were new friends to be made and new learning experiences to enjoy. Class 1/2W are really enjoying working in the kitchen garden; planting, watering, and weeding the wicking bed. We are really looking forward to the harvest of zucchini and capsicum!

We have revisited RISE to Thrive and understanding what that looks like in the class and outside in the yard. The RISE principles have been evident when we have been working in small groups and pairs cooperatively during our daily Bond Blocks activities. Not only are we practicing our essential Maths skills but we are living the values of our school.
