Year 5/6 Aquatics

This week, the year 5/6 classes attended a 2-day aquatic program at Port Noarlunga Beach. We were blessed with calm water and sunshine, which made some perfect conditions for some water activities. The year 5 students engaged in a range of activities that included beach safety/rescue and body boarding. The year 6 students enjoyed participating in snorkelling, surfing, body boarding, stand up paddle boarding and kayaking. All students approached their activities with a growth mindset and gave all activities a go. We noticed all students supporting, encouraging and caring for each other over the 2-day experience. A big thank you to the teachers and ESO staff that came to support us on the day.

Some feedback from our students below:

Ollie: “It was super fun because the water was very clear and glassy and there were lots of fish in the reef”.
