What’s happening in 3/4C

The first few weeks of school in 3/4 Carlson!

We have a jam packed start to the year in 3/4 Carlson! With getting to know our new class mates, adjusting to the new school year and swimming week – we are having lots of fun.

We have been learning lots of fun things in all our subjects. In English we are learning about persuasive writing and how we can try convince people of our thoughts and opinions. In Mathematics, we have been learning lots about numbers – expanded notation, greater or less than, place value and so much more! In Art, we are looking at Portraits and Abstract Art – we have drawn our own self-portraits and spoke about our unique qualities and all that makes us special.

We are all looking forward to the year ahead with all the wonderful learning and fun to be had along the way.

Here are some things we have enjoyed about Term 1 so far:

Griffin: I LOVE having laptops!

Lily: I like that we are having a good start to the year so far

Connor: I have liked learning about solids, liquids and gases in Science.

Chloe: I LOVE handwriting lessons!
