The Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 students started off our Holy Week Presentations on Monday with Palm Sunday.
Palm Sunday is the final Sunday of Lent, the beginning of Holy Week, and commemorates the triumphant arrival of Christ in Jerusalem, days before he was crucified.
The school then processed in silence, led by the 2024 Sacramental Students, to the oval, where the third cross was put into position.

On Tuesday the Year 3/4s presented an extremely moving and beautiful Holy Week performance. Covering Jesus’ last hours with his disciples before being arrested, with the Last Supper, The Washing of the Feet and the Garden of Gethsemane. All 3/4 classes signified these events with a play and a song.

Today, the Year 5/6 students re-enacted Jesus’ final hours through the Stations of the Cross. The Stations of the Cross detail fourteen different moments on the day Jesus died. This pilgrimage is a powerful way to grow closer to Jesus during Holy Week. The 5/6 team shared these moments with us in a beautiful and reverent way.
