HOLY WEEK 2024
On Tuesday the Year 3/4s presented an extremely moving and beautiful Holy Week performance. Covering Jesus’ last hours with his disciples before being arrested, with the Last Supper, The Washing of the Feet and the Garden of Gethsemane. All 3/4 classes signified these events with a play and a song.
Today, the Year 5/6 students re-enacted Jesus’ final hours through the Stations of the Cross. The Stations of the Cross detail fourteen different moments on the day Jesus died. This pilgrimage is a powerful way to grow closer to Jesus during Holy Week. The 5/6 team shared these moments with us in a beautiful and reverent way.
“The cross of Christ, embraced with love, never brings sadness with it, but joy, the joy of being saved and doing a little of what he did on the day of his death.” Pope Francis
