What’s happening in 5/6M
This term 5/6M has been learning about time and how time is represented through timetables. We have also been writing our own narratives including how to construct an interactive choose your own adventure story. Students have also learnt about different materials, reflecting and refracting light and have used a Future Focused Learning approaching when participating in HASS.
We have been lucky enough to experience the Wheelchair Rugby National Championships where students were able to meet players and ask questions. The Year 6’s also enjoyed their retreat at Aberfoyle Park Community Centre which was centered around the theme of Changing Hearts to Care for Our World. Some students also represented the school in a Netball Day Carnival where they competed against other schools. Nativity had a very successful day overall with the Boys team making it to the final and one of the Girls teams progressing to the next stage of their Knockout Competition.
