What’s happening in Japanese
In Japanese, junior primary students practiced greetings, colours, and family words. They created a family portrait with Japanese writing. They also created a Mother’s Day magnet card for their loved ones.
Upper primary students explored the topic of “community.” They learned how to explain what’s around their community. They also learned about Tokyo Tower and will have a Tokyo Tower colouring competition in the next two weeks, which students are excited about. Additionally, students learned about Children’s Day and talked about Koinobori (carp streamers) and how it is celebrated in Japan.
