Grandparents & Special Friends Day

Dear Families,

Preparations are in full swing for the eagerly anticipated community event, Grandparents & Special Friends Day.
This year the students will be performing ‘The Greatest Show On Earth’ as part of the special day, which is also
our concert for the year. There will be a performance as part of Grandparents and Special Friends Day on Friday
28 September and an evening performance for parents on Thursday 27 September. Due to the large numbers
from each family who like to attend, we are limiting tickets to 4 per family for both performances. Our preference
is for Grandparents and Specials Friends to attend the performance on Friday as part of Grandparents Day with
other family members coming along to the Thursday Night performance. There will be an option for families to
request additional tickets and if we have tickets leftover, they will be allocated accordingly.

Please note that we will be asking families coming to the Thursday evening performance for $2 per ticket to help
cover the cleaning costs of the PAC. The Friday performance for Grandparents and Special Friends is at no charge.

Tickets will be sold online from the afternoon of Wednesday 12th September

If you are unable to order tickets online please see Cate or Lisa at Nativity Office.

Note: You can purchase both the Thursday and Friday performance tickets in the one transaction. You will need
to add one session worth of tickets at a time. When you get to your Cart select Buy More Tickets to go back and
order for another session.

After the performance in the PAC on Friday our special visitors are invited to see their grandchild’s/special young
friends work in the classrooms and to stay for a light lunch under the Nativity COLA. We kindly ask ALL families to
please provide a plate of food suitable for lunch e.g. a plate of sandwiches, quiche, chicken platters etc. You are
able to indicate what you will bring as part of the online process. Should you wish to provide a monetary donation
please see Cate or Lisa at the front office.

Students are to have their own lunch packed in their school bag or a lunch order. Students will not be joining
grandparents/special friends for lunch but will be eating with their class as they normally do on a school day.
If anyone attending requires a disabled car park or needs wheelchair access please contact Nativity office so we
can ensure arrangements for their comfort can be made.

I look forward to the Nativity community supporting Grandparents & Special Friends Day once again.

Kind regards
Greg Haynes
