Sacrament Parent Information Session
Dear Parents,
The Holy Family Catholic Parish would like to invite you to consider if your child is ready for the 2024/25 Sacrament Programme. The Sacrament Programme is a parish based and family focused journey which prepares children to celebrate and receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and First Holy Communion. It is a requirement for your child to be Baptised in the Catholic faith to complete the Sacraments of Initiation. We can assist with any discussions around this.
We welcome parents to make an informed decision on their child’s readiness and we are here to support you in this. We encourage participation in the Sacrament of Reconciliation from year 3 and Sacrament of Confirmation and First Holy Communion in year 4. Any older students are also welcome.
As parents and carers, you are the first educators of your children and have an essential role on this journey. The Parish works in co-operation with families to support you all during this preparation time.
We hope all families embrace this time as an opportunity to strengthen their relationship with God, feel closer to the Parish and connect with others within the Parish community.
We are having a parent information and enrolment session on Tuesday 19th November at 6:30pm, in the transportable behind the Nativity Church. This session is an opportunity for all parents to ask questions and receive information about the intended workshops and scheduled Sacrament dates.
Please email Bianca Cotton, parishassociate@nativityparish.com.au to register for our parent information and enrolment session. Please complete the attached registration form for your child/children to bring with you on the night including payments and certificate originals and copies. For those We would look forward to seeing you. Thankyou.
Many Blessings,
Father Paul Mwaura, Parish Priest and Bianca Cotton, Pastoral Associate.
