Principal’s Welcome
Thank you for considering School of the Nativity as a place of learning and growth for your child. Here at School of the Nativity, we offer a small, inclusive and connected community where learners from Reception to Year 6 are empowered to learn and lead and where curiosity is nurtured. We provide stimulating, creative and personalised learning experiences
for students to help cultivate learning dispositions, preparing them for the future.
As a Catholic school, we take inspiration from Saint Mary MacKillop and the Josephite sisters by creating an environment of welcome for everyone, ensuring all are treated with dignity, and live by the belief that education can empower and transform communities.
At School of the Nativity we know the importance of working in partnership with families and this is reflected in our school motto: Families Living, Loving, Learning. We welcome all families to be actively involved in the life of the school and Parish adding to the sense of community and belonging. Our community of highly skilled and committed educators deliver a comprehensive curriculum and extracurricular program that challenges and supports learners, enabling them to explore their passions and meet their full potential.
While students belong and thrive within our small supportive school community, being a part of the larger Aberfoyle Park Primary School Campus provides learners with unique opportunities not available to other schools in the area. We have extensive sporting, performing arts, instrumental, STEM and extracurricular programs to spark and feed curiosity and generous facilities, including the Performing Arts Centre, large library, full sized gymnasium, three ovals, two outdoor courts, large undercover court and multiple playgrounds.
To see how your child can be empowered to succeed in our school community, I invite you to join a personalised or group tour and discover all that School of the Nativity has to offer.
