Enrolment Process

Thank you for considering School of the Nativity for your child’s educational journey.

We welcome enrolment from families of all faiths and backgrounds. For families looking to enrol in Reception, we offer two intakes per year; Term 1 and Term 3. For all other year levels, we accept enrolment across the year dependent on class sizes. 

Our Enrolment Process 

Book a Tour
We invite you to attend a Principal’s Tour of our school to see our school in action and experience a day in the life of our students. A tour is a great way to ask questions you may have and meet the staff who shape our school.

Apply for Enrolment and Submit Application
To apply for enrolment, please complete the Application for Enrolment form and return it to the school office via email or in person. Forms are available below and via hard copy when you visit the school on a tour. Forms can be downloaded, filled out and submitted at any time during the enroment enquiry process. A small fee is required to submit the application. 

Letter of Offer
Once your application has been submitted and processed, we will send you a Letter of Offer which must be formally accepted to confirm your child’s enrolment.

Enrolment Interview
Once your child’s enrolment is confirmed, we will invite you to an enrolment interview closer to the time your child starts school. The interview is an informal and relaxed opportunity to ask us questions and for us to understand more about you and your child.

Transition to School
Following your interview, we will work with you to arrange a smooth and supported transition to starting at School of the Nativity. For children commencing Reception, your child will be offered a place in our Nativity Stars Transition Program which runs two terms prior to beginning school.

For children joining our school in other year levels, we work with families on a personalised transition to school that ensures your child is welcomed into the classroom for a safe and supported school experience. More information is available on our Nativity Stars – Reception Transition page.
