Premier’s Reading Challenge 2024

The Premier’s Reading Challenge is a literacy engagement strategy that invites students to read 12 age-appropriate books in a year. Students who complete the challenge receive an annual award, which are presented during a Term 4 assembly.

We encourage all students to take up the challenge, they are required to read 12 books from the start of the school year until the end of week 7, term 3. As a school, we decided to participate in the challenge from May -September.

Our Early Years students will complete the challenge at school, with forms being completed by the teachers.

Our Year 3-6 students wishing to participate in the challenge, can collect a sheet from their class teacher or download the form from the website Premier’s Reading Challenge . Once the forms are completed, they can be returned to class teachers. A reminder that for year 3-6 the Premier’s Reading Challenge is a student and family led activity.
