Reconciliation Week – David Booth and Dancers performance
Today, at the start of Reconciliation Week, David Booth and Dancers performed traditional dances from Peramangk Country and Arnhem Land. The performances included celebrating a Dreamtime creation story, the animals, fire and wattle seed. David also spoke with the students about the origins and making of the Yidaki (didgeridoo) and the continuing importance of Reconciliation and the significance of the 1967 Referendum.
