Statewide Basketball

Our Year 5/6 Girls team, coached by Jordan Fisher and our Year 6 Boys team, coached by Shelley Torresan, competed in the Statewide Basketball Competition at the Morphett Vale Stadium today.

Both teams worked well together and displayed great sportsmanship out on the court. Congratulations to our boy’s team, showing excellent skills by going undefeated in all their matches and will progress in the competition later in the year. Our girls tried really hard in all their matches and were able to get a win in one of their matches. All our basketballers can be proud of their efforts.

Thank you to Jordan and Shelley for coaching the teams and supporting our players. Thank you to our parent helpers who assisted with scoring and transport – Tara Macrow, Helen Bentley, Lauren Water, Jarrad and Carly Crowe, Emma van Lierop and Shane Eastwood.

We look forward to seeing how the boys go later this year.
