What’s happening in 1/2W

1/2 W have been very excited to work with a visiting artist. Students were introduced to primary and secondary colours and discussed how they make us feel. They are looking forward to the coming week where they will be exploring the art of Claude Monet and painting their own interpretations of his famous paintings.

In English, student have been composing sentences and narratives using The Writing Revolution (TWR) method and extending our writing.

Our Science topic this semester focuses on Space, and we have budding astronomers and astrophysicists who are wondering about the planets and Space discovery.

In HASS, we have started learning about families as part of our History Unit of inquiry. Additionally, we have started to rehearse our Grandparents Day performance and look forward to sharing it with the school community at the end of Term 3.
