Celebrating Our Community
I’d like to thank our dedicated Altar Servers, a big thank you to these students who volunteer their time for our Class hosted Parish Masses and on the weekends. Their commitment enhances our school and parish community, and we are blessed to have devoted young people among us. Thanks to Charlotte, Hunter, Marley, Jonah, Toby, Casey, Brooke, Chloe, Grace, Aria and Tilly & Lucas (absent).
I would like to share the prayer we will read on Grandparents and Special Friends Day. I know not all Grandparents will be able to join us on the day, and this might be a nice way to share the day with them.
Heavenly Father,
With hearts full of gratitude, we come before You, lifting up our beloved grandparents, cherished friends, and all those who have gone before us. We thank You for the wisdom, love, and guidance they have shared with us. Their presence in our lives is a testament to Your boundless grace and enduring care.
Bless our grandparents with continued good health, peace, and joy. Surround them with Your loving presence and comfort them in their moments of need. Grant them the strength to share their stories and the joy of seeing their legacy live on through us.
For our special friends, we ask that You nurture their spirits and bless them abundantly. May they feel Your love in their lives, experience Your peace in their hearts, and find joy in the simple moments. Help us to be a source of encouragement and support to them, just as they are to us.
We also remember with love and affection those who have passed from this earthly life. May they rest in Your eternal peace, and may their spirits continue to guide and inspire us. We are grateful for the memories we hold and the ways they have touched our lives.
Guide us all in our relationships, teaching us to love selflessly and to cherish each moment we share together. May our bonds grow stronger, our understanding deeper, and our gratitude richer with each passing day.
In Your infinite wisdom and grace, we trust. Thank You for the gift of these dear ones, both present and past, and for the opportunity to share in their lives.
Amen
On Sunday, September 22nd, we celebrate a significant moment for several of our community members as they prepare to receive their Sacraments. We pray for Leah, Bryony, Kira, Inga, and Olivia as they embark on this special journey. May their faith be filled with love, compassion, and a deep sense of God’s presence.
We also extend our warmest congratulations to Zimuzo, Muna, Jack, Amelia, and Quinn, who celebrate their Confirmation and First Holy Communion on Sunday. This is a significant occasion, and we are delighted to witness their growth in faith and commitment to the Church.
I hope you will join in prayer and celebration, supporting these individuals as they take these important steps in their spiritual journeys.
Thank you for being a part of our vibrant and supportive community. Your presence and participation make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and families.
Grace and Peace
