Dear Parents, Students, Staff and Friends of Nativity School,

As we gather for Grandparents Day this week as a School Community, we will be acknowledging and celebrating the gift of grandparents and the vital role they play in our lives.
We give thanks for our grandparents, for all that they do for us and with us, for all that they teach us, for the love we share with them and the positive influence they have on our lives.
Pope Francis reminds us of the significance of intergenerational exchanges and dialogue, especially within the context of the family. Saying “This relationship and this dialogue between generations is a treasure to be preserved and strengthened.”
We are excited to welcome Grandparents to the biggest day on the Nativity calendar which we hope is an opportunity to strengthen Grandparent and Grandchild relationships and below is a reminder of the times for Nativity Countdown:

Performance 1 10.00am
Morning Tea 11.15am
Performance 2 12.30pm
School finish time 2.00pm

Special thanks to Scott Baldock, Marissa Ritorto, Ari Torresan and all the parent helpers who have assisted with costumes, makeup and morning tea for Nativity Countdown – we couldn’t do it without you!

Congratulations to our choir who preformed at the Catholic Schools Music Festival “Where dreams begin” on Tuesday. It was a magical night where we were treated to performances by the choir of songs such as Come Away and Sing, Puttin’ on the Ritz and Take Me Home Country Road. Special thanks to Ally Cunningham for preparing the choir throughout the year.

In term 4 we welcome Alex Gillespie who will be joining the Year 5/6 teaching team. Alex’s expertise is in digital technologies and preparing students for secondary schooling.

A reminder the school Uniform Shop is open during the term break on Wednesday, 9th October (2nd week) from 8.00am until 9.30am. Thankyou in advance for supporting the school uniform policy as we move to summer uniform in term 4.
