From The APRIM
Dear Families
Catholic Charities
As part of the Grandparents Day activities, students Isla, Eli, Esme, and Scarlett collected donations for Catholic Charities 2024 Appeal. Using collection buckets decorated with the 2024 Catholic Charities brochure, together we raised an incredible $629.15.
A sincere thank you to everyone for your generosity and support of this worthy cause.
Leading with a Josephite Heart in 2025
As we look forward to 2025, our school theme will be “Leading with a Josephite Heart”, which embodies the Josephite values of love, kindness, belonging, justice, courage, compassion, gratitude, and forgiveness. These core values will guide our students and community throughout the year, as we focus on living with purpose and empathy, much like St. Joseph and St Mary MacKillop.
Our Year 5 students have already embraced this theme, working on designs that reflect these Josephite traditions. A special congratulations to Toby and Jonah, who combined their ideas and worked closely with staff to create the final version of the design. Their artwork will be a powerful visual representation of our theme in 2025, reminding us all to lead with a heart full of love and service.
The initial design by Toby and Jonah Year 5 2024:

Carols Night
Our much-loved annual Carols Night will take place on Tuesday, 3rd December at 5:30 pm. The evening will kick off with a family picnic (bring your own food), followed by a Nativity Play and carol performances by all year levels. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the festive season as a community. We look forward to seeing you there!
This Tuesday we celebrate the Feast Day of St John Paul II, you may like to pray his official prayer on this day
Oh, St. John Paul, from the window of heaven, grant us your blessing! Bless the church that you loved and served and guided, courageously leading it along the paths of the world in order to bring Jesus to everyone and everyone to Jesus.
Bless the young, who were your great passion. Help them dream again, help them look up high again to find the light that illuminates the paths of life here on earth.
May you bless families, bless each family! You warned of Satan’s assault against this precious and indispensable divine spark that God lit on earth. St. John Paul, with your prayer, may you protect the family and every life that blossoms from the family.
Pray for the whole world, which is still marked by tensions, wars and injustice. You tackled war by invoking dialogue and planting the seeds of love: pray for us so that we may be tireless sowers of peace.
Oh St. John Paul, from heaven’s window, where we see you next to Mary, send God’s blessing down upon us all. Amen.
Grace and Peace
